On Monday Doggie Paws World announced the grand opening of their state-of-the-art, 1,700-sq ft luxury doggie daycare, training, and wellness center at Downtown Long Beach’s crown jewel of upscale apartment living – Camden Harbor View. A new doggie daycare center specializing in personalized socialization and exercise programs, Doggie Paws World, offers a safe, nurturing and vibrant environment for pups to get gussied- up with a grooming, let out some energy on a run, or relax in the Pampered Pooch Lounge.
Founded by Carol Reed, Na Onka Mixon, and Joshua Morphis, Doggie Paws World began as a mobile service specializing in high-quality pet care before expanding into a full service pet haven that aims is to enhance Long Beach’s vibrant community of dog owners by improving the lives of their pets through education, recreation, and social conditioning.
“We’ve always been dedicated to serving the unique needs of pets and their owners,” said Mixon. We’re thrilled to expand our impact on the vibrant Long Beach pet-friendly community with our new facility and personalized programs.”
In addition to serving pets that found their “forever homes”, Doggie Paws World will be contributing to the pet rescue community through a partnership with Sparky and the Gang.
“In the shop and online we offer fundraising bracelets with our signature tie-dye design,” added Reed. “ We also look forward to hosting pet adoptions, speakers, and gala events. More than anything, we want to make a positive impact on the entire canine community.”
In the coming weeks, Doggie Paws World will host a variety of celebrations and events to invite residents into their new location, including a Grand Opening and ceremonial ribbon cutting on Saturday March 30, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. that will include refreshments and live music.
